Community Engagement & EmpowermentWe empower and mobilize community stakeholders to collaborate in developing effective systems of family care by training and mentoring laity to work in our processes and become part of the networks of care within their communities.
We have processes to train Lay Family Care Peers and Lay Community Health Workers on leadership and facilitating skills, developing programs and adapting our processes, and how to form community alliances with other organizations, businesses and institutions. We also assist them in funding their educational and preventive family enrichment programs and ensuring success. These lay leaders are the point of access to high quality, faith-based behavioral and social services for children, youth and their families. |
